Attention, those of you who own Fidelity National Financial Inc. (FNF): FNF has announced a spin-off of F&G Annuities & Life Inc. (FG). Owners of FNF will receive 6.8 shares of FG for every 100 share of FNF that they owned as of the close of business on the date of record, November 22, 2022. Owners of FNF should receive the shares of FG to their brokerage accounts on or after December 1, 2022.
At this time, we are not recommending any immediate action with regards to FG or FNF. Following December expiration, we will reassess the situation and determine the best course of action to take. At that time, we will update the position alert to let you know of whatever action is necessary.
