Attention, those of you who own Apollo Education Group Inc. (APOL): APOL has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by The Vistria Group, LLC, and be taken private as a result. The tentative terms of the agreement include a buyout of $9.50 per share for all outstanding shares of APOL. Further details on the buyout can be found here.
If the deal is approved by regulatory agencies and shareholders, we will post an updated Position Alert with the proper actions to take. Therefore, we are currently recommending that our clients continue to trade APOL by the tenets of the Snider Method.
